Designing the impact strategy for a research proposal
Nowadays, every funding body requires you to demonstrate the impact of your research project. To achieve this, you need to plan for impact already during the writing phase of the proposal. But how do you go about this? What does this involve? In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to approach the design process by identifying your mission and the actions that lead to impact. In small groups, you will go through the steps to define an impact strategy based on a real-case scenario. You can later use this method to design your own research strategy for impact and make your proposal even more competitive!

Sustainable Development is a “wicked problem” – it’s multi-dimensional, it is difficult to solve because of the contradictory and changing requirements that are difficult to recognize. To truly achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it requires collaboration and communication between government, academia, civil society and corporate sector. SDGs also present opportunities:
