In this interactive lecture, we will dive into the world of knowledge transfer, both from a legal as a business development perspective. We will answer questions varying from “What is valorization?” to “What are intellectual property rights, and how do these rights come into play?” We will discuss the steps an individual researcher should take to market his/her research and will give you some of the ingredients for a successful spin-out company! We will also discuss the broader perspective, where public-private partnerships are created to accelerate projects for Erasmus University Rotterdam.
