This hands-on workshop will help you to understand the different stages of the evaluation process and the evaluation criteria of a research proposal, and understand how evaluators score grant proposals. It will also provide you with some tips to appeal to the evaluation panel.
A week before the event, you will receive two proposals and the corresponding evaluation grid, and you will be asked to write a short evaluation report (based on a template). On the day of the event, we will have a simulation exercise of a grants’ committee meeting, where we will discuss your evaluation reports.
